Audition Announcement - ACTS Sings! Miscast

"ACTS Sings: Miscast" is a review where performers will perform their favorite Broadway songs in roles they typically wouldn’t be able to play.

A woman singing Jean Valjean? A man singing Mama Rose? Maybe a 40-year-old Annie? This is your chance to sing the role you never thought you could! Interested performers should come with a memorized song, preferably an up-tempo one which will entertain everyone in the audience. Auditionees should bring 2 copies of sheet music as an accompanist will be provided. If selected for this show you will be required to send a digital copy of your music to our accompanist Jan Crews at a later date.

“ACTS Sings! Miscast” will be performed in 40 Below on September 27 & 28 at 7:30 and September 29 at 2:30. Rehearsals will be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays following Labor Day. Thursday, September 5th will be our first rehearsal. Every performer will be notified following auditions regarding participation and schedule requirements.
